Our story begins in the 1970s, with a visionary idea within Montreal Engineering, a large company that used large computers (mainframe) to process its payroll and perform complex mathematical calculations. While large companies were still discovering the potential of computers, a group of their engineers realized that technology could go far beyond internal support, and saw a new business opportunity.
In 1986, the Montreal Informática. Driven by pioneering technological adherence, this new venture grew rapidly and became independent from Montreal Engineering, which was later bought by foreign investors.
In a bold move, its own founders - Marcos de Abreu Coutinho, Paulo Assumpção, Ângela Alvarenga, Eliéser dos Santos, Luiz Antônio dos Santos, Júlio Henrique Marques and Anoir Guimarães - acquired the company, reinforcing the entrepreneurial DNA that drives Montreal to this day.
Years of experience and growth sustained by solid management, ethical action, respect for diversity and preservation of the environment have put Montreal at the forefront of the future and positioned it as one of the largest technology companies in the country.
